Spring emerges from the golden blooms of daffodils

Gah, that was way too poetic… Well, perhaps if I just leave poetry in the titles, and not in the actual entries…

Anyway, another photo, of some daffodils in the wrought iron window boxes that we have here on our estate (the blue blur is some kind of thermometer on the wall, I think… but I’m not sure! That’s the magic of macro shots and forced depth of field:  ‘Guess that blur?!’)

It also might be the last time I get to photograph our lovely garden as we’ve received a couple of good, cash offers this week; it seems like we might actually be moving!

Where we will move to however remains a big question!

I love this picture! You should really teach a photography class.

  2. sebastian:

Hehe, I did… once! It went OK… (The photo of my cousin with his back to a tree was actually taken during that lesson… there’s your random fact for the day!)

    Thanks :)

  3. Ambles:

    Very, very good.

So did you want me to link to you?

  4. sebastian:

There’s no such thing as bad links, right?!

    Or was it news…

  5. sebastian:

    Wait, no, it was publicity…

No such thing as bad publicity!

  6. Ambles:

Hmmm… maybe I can just wait and see if I feel like writing another one, and then link to you on that one.

Wait…. are you just using me for links?! Has this been your plan ALL ALONG?!

    Gah!

  7. sebastian:

    You caught me red-handed, baby.

You are the last in a long-line of women that have been used and abused just for LINKS! Muha…ha..ha.

  8. Ambles:

    Awww, you called me “baby.”

    Crap.

Thanks for visiting my Watery Wednesday meme and for the comment. I actually took shots of this in color and black and white and I liked the black and whites better because the water was actually brown and dirty looking. Artistic license I guess because what I liked about this one was how clear the small wave looked as it curled over.

  10. sebastian:

Well, I can not argue with that! Sometimes black and white IS the key, certainly. I think I only have 1 or 2 black and white photos from recent years though… perhaps I should try some more!

Thanks for stopping by… I hope you enjoyed my colour pictures :)

I would love it if you post love poetries. Opening more blogger audiences. Maybe more teen girls. You should send out your link im xanga ;)

  12. sebastian:

I’ll be sure to check out Xanga, especially if there are lots of teenage girls there! (Are you there?)

I haven’t written poetry since I was tiny… I’d probably be quite good now, but I’d have to practice and practice, and I wouldn’t know when to stop practicing, and actually put some up here :)

  13. Jossie Posie:

Seb really really beautiful shot. I think you’ve inspired me to start carrying my baby around again…I’ve been remiss in my photography adventures lately :-(

  14. sebastian:

I didn’t even know you took photos…! That means you MUST’VE been slacking!

    And thanks :)
