Obviously, you can only fiddle around with tiny, sticky, smelly sweets (candy) for so long.
Eventually, something’s gotta give; that something was my sanity.
No, I don’t know why I was making a peace sign with my fingers. Or why I was punching myself in the head…
That’s quite enough macro photography for now I think.

I like that you felt it necessary to make the distinction that – yes, you are talking about candy. Wise decision.

Heyyy, good hair!
and that ‘Heyyy’ wasn’t a greeting, more of a ‘oooh’ but with out earthy vowel sound, i’m not feeling the ‘ooh’s’ this season, sorry ‘oooh’ it’s all about the ‘ey’ sound nowadays.
…
quite.

I understood “sweets,” but I will admit that until yesterday I didn’t know what a jelly baby was. Because the photos alone did not answer all my pressing jelly baby questions, I had to Wikipedia them. Did you know that, like many sweets, jelly babies contain gelatin and are thus unsuitable for vegetarians? And I am very intrigued at the idea of “Screaming jelly babies.”
Here in the U.S. we eat gummi bears and Sour Patch Kids. I guess we’re missing out.

Damn, I thought I replied before Eleni… now I broke the continuous narrative… hmpf.
Yeah, there’s a huge prevalence of animal gelatin in English sweets. I understand it’s quite a roller coaster of emotions for a sweet-lover that is turning vegetarian… Those lovely little chewy goodies vs. the moral outrage of dead little piggies (or was it cows?)
Personally, I actually prefer the hard-coated candies, like jelly beans. Or even gummi bears are probably better than jelly babies — they’re a bit tooo squishy for my tastes.
Can’t we get back to how psychotic I look in the photos?

I really like the hair.
The third picture looks a little like Zoolander’s blue steel look. Just saying.
Like Eleni, I’d never seen a jelly baby before.
Gummy bears are good. Someone once sent me pictures of them in provocative positions once.

That’s what happens when you take a photographer that has absolutely nothing outside to photograph, a mirror, and some bright lights… But looking back, now that I’ve recovered my sanity, I quite like the results!
I think I’ve seen the pictures you talk of, Miss Bitter. Gummy bears are much easier to photograph because they’re small, shiny, and better-formed… less detail!

I once had such buxom lips, and proper jowls…
And now I am just skin dragged over bones… alas.

I would buy more, but I don’t do a whole lot of internal photography…
Stop pondering; I’m not going to do a naked photo shoot, dork.
