I caved and went for a stereotypical seaside photo for this week’s Watery Wednesday: the western coast of Seattle, USA. As if to make sure I ticked all the boxes, I also made sure the sun was setting.
Hopefully you like it though. I think it’s interesting enough to warrant more than just a quick glance!
If you like this one, there’s a few more in the series, over in the USA gallery!
You can find more watery, and alliteration-friendly photos over at Watery Wednesday.

Ohhhh I really like this one…something about the way the wind is blowing over the water and the clouds.

I’m glad you like it too
It was one of my favourite memories from my trips to America — that, and standing under Bridalveil Waterfall in Yosemite! (Not to mention it has an awesome name for a waterfall…!)
I am a huge fan of taking ‘off to the side’ sunsets too. If you take the sun out of the picture, there’s a lot more to look at!

It reminds me of this one of mine: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3199/2868030032_141ab82fff.jpg although that was first thing in the morning. It makes me feel all serene!
Sunsets can look lovely with the sun in too though! http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3257/3130267585_b6b569bd2f.jpg
I hope those links work!

Wow, the first one is better than mine I think!
Being a night-owl, I rarely get the early-morning photos… I should try to, one day!

Thank you, both of you… and an Ewok! Aren’t they like Wookies, only… smaller?

Incredible photo!! I love the colours, all in the range of smoky blues, and the way the clouds and light all lead you to the place where the sun would be!!!

that’s very pretty. I love the range of blues that you were able to capture.
