This week, what you’ve all been waiting for… (maybe)
I wanted to call it the ‘animal special’ but I think ‘animal and assorted creatures of fantasy’ would be more accurate. Though ‘any excuse to dress up as an anthropomorphic animal so that girls can ride you’ would be pretty accurate too.
I’m busy writing and recording (Guaranteed 100% Italian Free) some kick-ass (non-faerie-related) entry for tomorrow, so you just a photo of me as Tinker Bell (which is incidentally hosted on my Flickr photo stream).
Bonus points if you can work out what’s stuck into my waistband. And aren’t my ‘flowy arms’ magical?! Not bad for a frickin’ giant.

May 17th, 2009 at 12:51 pmAlso, I think the runners are the best part….
May 17th, 2009 at 12:53 pmHaha very cute!
May 17th, 2009 at 12:54 pmIs that a magic wand stuck in there?
(Translate into international phrase please… runners? Boots? Ladders in my tights?)
May 17th, 2009 at 12:55 pmAhaha… a magic wand… OF SORTS!
May 17th, 2009 at 12:55 pmThis pic does crack me up – but the one of you dressed as Nana has to win the bonus points.
I’m gonna go for ‘wall paper scraper’ purely because it looks like the handle of our old one. However, the front of your skirt appears to be protruding, which suggests a larger object, but it could just be that you have your hips thrust forward…hmm
But you really don’t look like a giant in that pic, just an average guy in a tutu and wings.
May 17th, 2009 at 1:10 pmWait until I pull out the photo of Peter Pan on my back, Chown. You won’t think I’m merely an ‘average guy’ after THAT!
May 17th, 2009 at 1:14 pmThe more of you I see, the more you remind me of my friend Andy. He too, has an affinity for pink (and with girls who twist his hair to look like yours in the photo)
May 17th, 2009 at 2:07 pmI think it’s probably best for my, and the universe’s, continued well being that Andy and I never meet.
May 17th, 2009 at 2:11 pmoh magical indeed! i love your hairdo. it’s a keeper! wahahah. i was hoping for a shorter tutus and a clean-shaven face, seb…. but this is hilarious enough LOL.
May 17th, 2009 at 2:26 pmI was MEANT to be a hairy Tinker Bell… it’s a long story, and the premise for the show was a bit… odd! If I had been clean-shaven, and had waxed legs, I would’ve been kinda gay, no?
This way I’m wearing a tutu, but I still look very manly… …
May 17th, 2009 at 2:28 pmYou have an uncanny resemblance to Tinkerbell, freaky really. Coincidentally, I had a dream with you last night and you were wearing a tutu…Its like I can predict the future.
May 17th, 2009 at 3:42 pmOooh. I suppose asking for any more details is out of the question?
May 17th, 2009 at 3:46 pma bag of fairy dust?
May 17th, 2009 at 3:50 pmOut of the question indeed. Don’t worry it wasn’t that exciting.
May 17th, 2009 at 4:02 pmThe work boots TOTALLY make the outfit! I mean, what self-respecting Tinkerbell would go out without them?!?!!!
May 17th, 2009 at 7:02 pmhahahahaha oh, how lovely. very nice.
May 17th, 2009 at 7:04 pmNever nice to laugh at a boy in a tutu, Sarah… they might start to have thoughts of inadequacy.
May 17th, 2009 at 7:34 pmI agree that the tutu is too long…
May 17th, 2009 at 7:50 pmOh, you’re all a bunch of ballet dancers now?
Only ELENI is qualified to pass judgement on that matter, I believe.
Unless of course, you have photos of YOU wearing a tutu, m’dear Rini.
May 17th, 2009 at 7:52 pmActually, I might… but these would be before I owned a digital camera (which I won’t admit how long it actually took me to get one of my own)…. I can check the stacks of prints when I get home… I need to find said tutu anyway.
(I almost ordered a new one, custom made from etsy… but haven’t yet…)
Tutu wearing days were ones of really long hair and pre-glasses…
May 17th, 2009 at 7:57 pmthat’s pretty… ummm… special. haha.
May 17th, 2009 at 8:32 pmHow very metro!
May 17th, 2009 at 10:42 pmIs that short for… metrosexual?
Sorry, I’m not ‘down with the lingo’ nowadays, dawg.
May 17th, 2009 at 10:43 pmI told you before this is my fave pic ever.
May 18th, 2009 at 12:03 ami am so glad you don’t have chicken legs.
May 18th, 2009 at 2:23 amYou are the most beautiful fairy ever.
May 18th, 2009 at 10:04 pmAnimal! Hooray!!!!
Is this theatrical, or social?
May 20th, 2009 at 12:44 amIn this case, it’s theatrical, but for social events I have been known to dress up pretty wildly too. The pirate stuff was all for social events.
I’m trying to track down some old party photos at the moment for the next special… there’s one photo of me as a rotting Nazi which I think would really get the discussion going here on my blog.
