I just had my first solid poop in four days! To celebrate, here are a handful of pretty photos from all over Montenegro, the pint-sized jewel of the Adriatic Sea. For a country with 600,000 citizens and an area of just 5,000 square miles — i.e. one of the smallest countries in the world — there sure is a lot to see and do here.
I’ll post a lot more photos once I’m back in England, on Tuesday. If you want to see more, visit Flickr. You can’t buy these photos just yet, but I’ll fix that when I get home.

Whoa, I LOVE that first photo!
Your flexibility could use a little work

Thanks!
I was hampered by the fact that I was holding on to the damn statue! I tried letting go for a few fractions of a second, but… yeah… I didn’t want to slip and die.

Incredible photos! That’s just breathtakingly beautiful. Looks like you had an amazing trip.
Agreed with you on your earlier point about Vonnegut’s short fiction. When I was younger I read every single book of his the library had, including one of his plays. But now I can only vaguely remember most of them. There’s another book of short stories called “Bagombo Snuff Box”, and I’ve gotten a copy and will hit it up as soon as I’ve finished my current read. All I can remember remember that they’re all a lot more disparate than the fiction in “Welcome to the Monkey House” (and really, how can you get better than that? probably impossible) but worth a go, anyway.

Hey, Laura
Sorry about the slow response — still trying to catch up after Montenegro! (And yes, it was an amazing trip.)
I was more than a little saddened to find that my first Vonnegut experience was the best, though Slaughterhouse 5 was pretty close! I’ll look up Bagombo Snuff Box now!
