Before college, my only real experience with cameras was taking the occasional snap with my mother’s camera on holiday.
I had no real ‘urge’ to do photography — I just had a couple of spare years before university, and wanted to do something artistic. I would liked to have done something more ‘fine art’, but I lacked basic drawing and painting skills. Photography, on the other hand, just requires two hands and an ‘eye’ for design.
Anyway, for one of my projects, I did a series of dark, misty and wet photos. The project contained some of my favourite photos (even including my work since then), but sadly the project got “lost in the system”. I got an A, but the portfolio never came back from the examiners.
This is a recreation of one of the photos in the project.

Me too, Jossie! Did you see the other two, though? They are probably better…

I’m amazed you haven’t seen Maru before, Aiko — it’s the kind of thing that every girl has seen…
Sweta — another comparison to someone I don’t know!

haha,Selkirk is the man upon whom Robinson Crusoe is based.Selkirk got lost at sea, forgot how to speak, maimed young goats so that he could catch them later and is rumored to have engaged in bestiality.Tsk,I should have just stuck with Crusoe
