Hail and well met, fellow¬†Thespians. Did you know that I’ve acted on stage since I was about two? I was (un)fortunate enough to belong to one of those schools where, once a year, everyone slips into a costume made from old curtains, pipe cleaners and aluminium foil and prances around a stage for a couple of hours. In my formative years I just had to look cute. Later on I had to wear wigs (and affect a female voice), wear…

There’s a nasty problem that afflicts most artists. Some would say it isn’t a problem, some would say it’s merely ‘perfectionism’ or something, but the fact remains: artists tend to be very critical of their own work. I don’t necessarily mean that they HATE everything they produce, though some surely do. I mean that the artist judges his work very heavy-handedly. After yesterday’s deep and meaningful I had to change things up a bit and be artistic. Have to keep these things in balance lest your brain begins to ooze out of nose. As a result of being artistic, I give you Dancing Light, a series of images taken from an original photograph. I need a little more time to turn it over; to taste it. Now if only I could remember the dream that obviously shook me enough to wake me up! Maybe this is what they call a ‘Eureka!’ moment… So I’m…

It’s hot and sticky in the UK again. I’m tired through lack of sleep and I refuse to pump myself full of caffeine just so I’m capable of coherent thought and thus bubble forth the beautiful, flowing prose that you expect from me. Instead, I went through photos from the G! Festival, a music festival that takes place on a beach in the Faroe Islands. You’ve seen a few but I have a lot (hundreds). There’ll probably be some more…

Still trying to catch up with, like, everything. Yesterday I emptied my inbox; today I’m going to try and make some headway on Google Reader… I’ve been slowly trawling my way through thousands of photos from the last month. Turning up some gems! I could tell you about the expression she had on her face, but that’d spoil the mystery. Just look at that ELBOW! I just want to squidge it. And maybe gnaw a little. (Also, check top left…
