I happened to pass by the mirror earlier (I don’t do it often — image issues, y’know!) and thought hm, those Internet folk have probably never seen me like this before… You see, I nearly always have facial hair — as in, more than what you usually see in my self-portraits. I hate shaving (and showering, incidentally), but I don’t tend to do it a lot (but I do shower!) I only really shave when I’m going out or intending…

Are you ready? Things are going to change around here. I’m not quite sure how yet, but I thought I’d get it out in the open – that’s what blogs are good for, after all. Things are… different. In my head. Thoughts aren’t lining themselves up in the same way they used to. It’s unnerving. It’s hard to explain, to you, when the right words won’t come — it’s a bit Catch-22 like that (the book, incidentally, still lays unfinished…

Dude, where’s my pant? & Home & Away Seb: On Thursday I am off to Norway. This is both my homage to Norway (wool socks! water proof jacket!), and to a photo I took in 2009 before visiting the Faroe Islands. I had originally planned to go without the sandals, but didn’t want to ruin my lovely (and over-priced) wool socks. They’re snowboarding socks! So here I am, in my Jesus sandals… … As for the lack of pants —…

This week sees the continuation of my ‘Things you’ve always wanted to know about men but were too afraid to ask’ series of videos. I’m still trying to come up with a shorter and punchier title — if anyone can come up with anything, let me know; I’ll credit you! After unearthing the true reason behind why men pick their nose, I now turn my attention to a wholly more juicy subject — showering. More specifically, why some men take…

I recently bought a new digital camera. Unlike the last, this one has video capabilities. As you can imagine, I’ve spent the last few days filming just about everything: birds, cats, my crippled sister, the undergrowth outside… and even myself. I’ve been brainstorming, trying to come up with some kind of video series that’s both interesting, and a good test of my ability. The video below is the result — it’s quick, it’s dirty (in one take!), but I think…

As I alluded to elsewhere, I’m now the owner of a very-hard-to-get-your-hands-on Canon 550D (Digital Rebel T2i). I think there’s only about 20 in the UK at the moment, so I should probably write a full review — but I just don’t have time. Perhaps after the weekend, if there are still no reviews up on the Internet. In the mean time, here’s a test of the video/film functionality. This is recorded at 1080p ‘full HD’, but I messed it…
